About Milkadamia
Milkadamia is produced by Jindilli Beverages, the U.S. arm of an Australian, family-owned macadamia business built around Jindilli Farms. The brand was started by Jim Richards, a macadamia farmer who set out to move the nut beyond a candy-bowl ingredient into an everyday plant-based milk, launching the line in Australia before establishing the U.S. business, now headquartered in Burr Ridge, Illinois. The company describes its growing approach as regenerative agriculture, or "free-range trees" planted near the macadamia's native rainforest habitat and watered by rainfall rather than irrigation, with nuts sourced from the family's own farm plus other growers in Australia and South Africa.
The macadamia milk line is made from raw, never-roasted nuts, a deliberate choice: roasting before milling pushes the flavor toward bitterness, while raw macadamias keep the rounder, lower-bitterness fat profile that sets the base apart from almond or oat. The company has also pushed on packaging, developing a dehydrated oat-milk sheet product it calls Flat Pack that cuts shipping weight substantially versus a liquid carton. In our own testing for Brew Gazette's non-dairy coffee creamer roundup, the Original Macadamia Milk stood out as the only strong entrant in its base category, with a fortified ingredient panel and no caseinate on the label.

Why we recognized Milkadamia
The Brew Gazette Top Brand recognition isn't paid for and can't be applied for. We award it to the brands whose products consistently stand out in our hands-on category reviews. Milkadamia earned it on the strength of the products below, evaluated the same way every product on this site is: bought, brewed with daily, and judged on what lands in the cup.
Milkadamia products we rated highly
Milkadamia Macadamia Milk, Original, 32 Oz
It's the only macadamia-based option we found worth including, and the base earns its spot: macadamia's fat profile reads rounder and less bitter than almond, which shows up as a smoother finish under a dark roast. The nuts are raw rather than roasted going into the mill, avoiding the toasted-bitterness note that roasting nuts before milling can push into the cup. The panel runs twelve ingredients, mostly from fortifying it with vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D2, B12 and calcium phosphate to offset what a switch away from dairy normally costs nutritionally, and we checked it label by label for caseinate and found none.

- The only macadamia-base product in our non-dairy coffee creamer testing, giving the category a genuine plant-milk alternative to the almond, oat, coconut and soy bases that dominate the shelf.
- Made from raw, never-roasted macadamias, a formulation choice that avoids the toasted-bitterness note roasting can push into a cup already carrying roast flavor from the coffee itself.
- Fortified with vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D2, B12 and calcium phosphate, restoring nutrients a plant creamer would otherwise drop relative to dairy.
- Ingredient panel checked line by line for caseinate and other milk-derived emulsifiers as part of our review; none were found, and the label held up to scrutiny.
- Family-farm origin with a public regenerative-agriculture practice, growing macadamia trees without irrigation near the crop's native rainforest habitat rather than sourcing from an anonymous commodity supply chain.
