About Simply Good Coffee
Simply Good Coffee was founded in 2022 by Laura Sommers, a 30-year specialty-coffee veteran who previously built Espresso Supply, Inc. into a fixture of the café-equipment industry. Her focus with Simply Good Coffee was narrower: build an automatic drip brewer where no plastic or aluminum touches the water or the coffee at any stage of the brew, using a glass and stainless-steel path instead. THE BREWER, the company's flagship machine, is the result, and the company says more than 40,000 households have adopted it since launch.
The brewer has been independently tested to meet Specialty Coffee Association brewing standards, and it has drawn coverage well outside the plastic-free niche it started in.
