The DF grinder line traces back to a manufacturer in Ningbo, China, founded by siblings Bianca and Jorry Lei -- Bianca on the sales side, Jorry as the engineer behind the burr and gearbox design -- and MiiCoffee is the storefront that brought that grinder to home baristas as a complete, ready-to-buy product with support and accessories built around it, rather than an import you had to track down yourself.
